Each of these pieces begins as a wheel-thrown form - symmetric and with a conventional
definition of interior and exterior.
While the clay is still soft, I manually reshape the piece. The symmetry and classical
balance is deliberately altered, creating something with a more dynamic center of gravity.
Maximum diameter 51 cm (20").
